Locally, the Delaware County AuditorÂ’s DALIS-Project has updated their online DALIS Web to include natural resource data layers including the soil survey layer.

DALIS Web is the result of many years of the GIS teamÂ’s hard work and uses the latest technology in Interactive Mapping applications.

It includes many new features such as 44 data layers including parcels, roads, political boundaries, over 22,000 scanned subdivision and survey plats, soils, elevation, zoning, sewer lines, rental and commercial addresses, and census data to name a few.

It also includes a “Drill” tool which provides direct access to national, state, and local elected official’s web sites as well as web sites and/or maps of every school district, voting precinct, polling place, and fire station within the county.

The site contains an extensive help file that should help you get started. For access to the soil data, click on the “Environment” button.

The DALIS Web provides soil survey maps only for properties within Delaware County, Ohio using the most up-to-date parcel, road, and aerial photos available.
